Terms of Sale
Last updated: July 2, 2026
These Terms of Sale (“Terms”) govern every purchase of a companion animal from Petlovin' LLC (“Petlovin',” “we,” “us”), whether completed in one of our stores, by phone, or through this website. By placing a deposit or completing a purchase you agree to these Terms.
1. Who we are
Petlovin' operates retail pet stores in Florida and this website. Florida pet dealer — licensed and inspected. License numbers available in-store and on request. You can reach us at (305) 555-0134, by email at hello@petlovin.co, or at 1234 SW 8th Street, Miami, FL 33135.
2. Pricing and what’s included
The price shown on each animal’s listing page is the full purchase price of that animal. Unless stated otherwise on the listing, the price includes:
- Age-appropriate vaccinations and deworming, with complete records;
- A veterinary health examination and the official health certificate required for sale in Florida;
- Microchip (where stated on the listing);
- An included pet health insurance policy activation (see our Health Protectionpage for details and the insurer’s terms);
- Our written health guarantee.
Prices do not include optional delivery fees, which are quoted before you pay (see Delivery), or sales tax where applicable.
3. Reservations and deposits
You may reserve a specific animal by paying the deposit amount shown on its listing. A deposit takes the animal off the market and holds it for you. Deposits are applied in full toward the purchase price. Deposit terms, holding periods, and refund rules are set out in our Deposits & Refunds policy, which is part of these Terms.
4. Payment
The remaining balance may be paid by any payment method we offer at checkout, which may include card payment, bank transfer (ACH), Bitcoin, or consumer financing through a third-party provider. All payments are processed by licensed third-party payment providers; we never store your card details on our systems.
Full payment must clear before any animal is scheduled for delivery or pickup. This is a firm, system-enforced rule that protects both parties. For financed purchases, “cleared” means the financing provider has confirmed funding to us in writing.
5. Financing
Consumer financing, where offered, is provided by independent third-party providers. The provider — not Petlovin' — determines eligibility, rates, and terms, which vary by state and may not be available in all states. All disclosures relating to financing are made by the provider in its own application flow. We are not a lender and receive no compensation for arranging credit unless disclosed.
6. Health guarantee and your responsibilities
Every animal is examined by a licensed veterinarian before going home and travels with its health records. Florida law (the Florida Pet Law, §828.29, Florida Statutes) gives retail pet buyers specific remedies if a licensed veterinarian certifies the animal was unfit for sale within the statutory windows. A written statement of these rights is provided with every sale, and we honor them in full.
As the buyer you agree to:
- Have your new pet examined by a licensed veterinarian of your choice within the window stated in your buyer-rights document;
- Follow the vaccination and care schedule provided at handover;
- Notify us promptly (within the statutory period) of any certified health issue so we can make it right under the guarantee.
7. Delivery and pickup
Fulfillment options, service area, scheduling rules, and what happens at handover are described in our Delivery terms, which are part of these Terms. Title and risk of loss pass to you at handover.
8. Cancellations, returns, and refunds
Because live animals are not merchandise, cancellations and refunds follow the rules in our Deposits & Refunds policy and, where applicable, the Florida Pet Law remedies described above. Refunds are always issued to the original payment method through our payment ledger; we do not make cash refunds for electronic payments.
9. Truth in listings
Every listing shows real, recent photos or video of the actual animal offered. Breed, sex, date of birth, weight, and health status are stated to the best of our knowledge based on supplier documentation and our own veterinary checks. Weights and adult-size estimates are good-faith estimates, not guarantees.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from a sale is limited to the purchase price paid for the animal. Nothing in these Terms limits the statutory rights of Florida pet buyers under §828.29, Florida Statutes, or any other rights that cannot be waived by contract.
11. Disputes
These Terms are governed by Florida law. We want to fix problems, not litigate them — contact us first at (305) 555-0134 or hello@petlovin.co and a manager will respond within two business days. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Miami-Dade County, Florida.
12. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version in effect when you pay your deposit governs your purchase.
