How long the guarantee runs

What the buyer must do

1. Have the animal examined by a licensed veterinarian within ______ days of the date of sale, and keep the written result.

3. Tell the seller in writing within ______ days of a veterinarian's diagnosis, and give the seller a copy of the veterinarian's written statement.

4. Costs of any treatment the seller did not agree to in advance, except where state law provides otherwise.

State law

Where state law gives the buyer greater rights than this guarantee, state law applies and this guarantee is read to include those rights.
